Terms and refunds
These terms apply when you play General Market at https://playgeneralmarket.com, which is run by the team behind General Market. By playing you agree to them.
The game
General Market is a card game played for fun and bragging rights. There are no cash prizes, and nothing you win in the game has money value. We may change the game, its rules, bosses and charms to keep it fair and fun.
Fair play
Every Daily Market score is checked by replaying your moves. Don't tamper with the game, automate play, or use names that are offensive or pretend to be someone else. We may remove scores, names or players that break these rules.
What you can buy
- Market Pass: unlimited Free Play runs and no ads, on the phone or browser where you bought it (you can restore it on another with your payment reference).
- Card decks: new designs for the backs of your cards. They are cosmetic and don't change your chances.
Prices are in Naira and shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Paystack. Purchases are one-time and do not renew.
Refunds
If you were charged but didn't get your item, or were charged twice, email the contact address on this page (coming soon) with your payment reference (it starts with gm_) within 30 days and we will fix it or refund you in full. Because items unlock straight away, we don't otherwise refund purchases you've received, except where the law says we must. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Paystack, usually within 5 to 10 working days.
Ads and sponsors
Free players can watch optional ads for extra runs. Some days are brought to you by a sponsor whose brand appears in the game. Sponsors don't change the cards you are dealt.
Availability
We work to keep the market open, but the game is provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Names and trademarks
General Market is an original game. It is not made by or connected with the makers of any other card game.
